| Only one item per passenger is allowed through the airport search point with a maximum size of 56cm x 45cm x 25cm (note: the re-sealable bag must be able to fit within the cabin bag). Additional items, for example hand bags, will be required to fit inside the one permitted item of carry on baggage. |

| Outsize Items |

All items of luggage which do not fit in the permitted cabin baggage size (maximum length 56 cm, width of 45 cm and depth of 25 cm) must be checked in to be placed in the aircraft hold.
An exception to this is musical instruments, these are allowed on the craft as a second item of hand baggage. It is advisable to check with your airline before travelling if any special arrangements need to be made. |

| Liquids |

| Selected liquids are now allowed back through Stansted Airport security check points. Do note that restrictions on the quantity of liquids that can be travelled with still apply. |

| Now flight passengers can carry small quantities of liquids, but only when packaged within separate containers holding a capacity no greater than 100ml. |
| |
| These containers must be transported through the airport contained in a single, transparent, re-sealable plastic bag - see below - which itself must not exceed 1 litre in capacity (approximately 20cms x 20cms).You must ensure that the contents of said plastic bag must fit comfortably within the bag, and the bag must be able to be sealed. Each passenger is permitted to carry only one such bag of liquids. |

| The bag must be presented for examination at the airport security point. |

Any liquids that can't be placed inside the re-sealable bag will have to be packed into the hold luggage and checked in.
It's worth remembering that liquids of any amount can still be carried in luggage checked into the aircraft hold. |

| 'Liquids' include the following: |
| |
- All drinks, including water, soup, syrups
- Creams, lotions, oils, perfumes, mascara etc
- Sprays and pressurized containers including shaving foam and spray deodorants
- Pastes, including toothpastes
- Gels, including hair and shower gel
- Any other solutions and items of similar consistency

| Liquid Baby Food |

| Flying with baby foods - when flying out of Stansted Airport with baby foods please be advised that baby foods and sterilised water are permitted in larger quantities above the 100ml limit but only sufficient for the journey. These liquids will be subject to a taste test at airport security. |

| Essential Liquid Medicines |
| |
| Flying with medicines - security at Stansted Airport states that passenger's are is permitted to take essential medicines for the duration of your trip but they will be subject to the following authentications. You must obtain written permission from the airline and the airport. You should also have documentation from a qualified medical professional such as your GP or consultant. |

| Laptops and Electrical Items |
| |
| Any laptops, and other large electrical items (e.g. a large hairdryer), will have to be screened and will be regarded as the passenger's one item of hand luggage. |
